yay for snow!

I'm so excited that we finally have some snow, that's sticking to the ground and everything! Now it really feels like Christmastime. Saxon was born last year on the day after Christmas, and we are excited to celebrate his first birthday! I don't think he remembers "snow", and he was pretty excited about discovering it.

guess who.......saxon of course!

Well, not much exciting has happened lately..but I always have cute pictures of our baby! He's looking more and more like a toddler now though. His first birthday is this month!
Lately, he's pretty much mastered walking, can bend over and pick things up, dances to pretty much any music, and loves to talk his baby talk! We love our little guy.

Saxon loves to listen to our Ipod. He's often holds the earbuds to his ears, even if there's no music playing! Chris is helping him out by following him around with the Ipod :)
Saxon loves to be outside! We've caught a few more days at the park, even though it's getting cold, some days have been surprisingly warm!

AFGT (Annual Fake Gileadi Thanksgiving)

Every year, my family gets together and holds a "fake" thanksgiving, and celebrate early. This is great, cause that way we get two thanksgivings and can also celebrate later with our spouse's families. This year we unfortunately were missing Daniel and Chava, but we still had a lot of fun, and there were still plenty of us to go around! My family is so goofy and fun, it's always a blast when we get together!!

beat up on Avi time!

mmmmmm *slobber* amy's famous thanksgiving turkey was sooo good!

my pies weren't so bad neitha!

It is so fun to go to the playground with Saxon! Especially when Daddy comes! Saxon is getting so big! He even goes down the slide by himself :)

eating dirt and sniffing mist

Saxon loves to get into the dirt where our flowers used to be, before they died. Now he just digs in there, and occasionally tries a taste of the brown dirt! Yucky! But, an old man in the post office once told me that boys are just like plants, they need some dirt to grow... guess this works!

Saxon had a really stuffy nose so we broke out the humidifier. It was fun to watch him play with the mist. Having him that close, breathing it in, really helped.
