masquerade!

Happy Birthday to Miriam!
Miriam is my cute little sister that I guess is not so little anymore.. She turned 18 on August 11th! It's crazy, she's an adult now.
She threw an awesome masque party for her birthday, it was so fun! Here she is in her awesome outfit with her boyfriend. (you can tell she's a lifeguard, huh?)
Here are all the cuzzies in our family! They all played together while we girls got ready for the masque ball...which is half the fun!
Here is my wonderfully crazy mom! She dressed up and danced with us! And it was so nice to be able to dance and have fun while she held Saxon.
Here I am talking to Chris on the phone after the dance cause he couldn't come, unfortunately--he can cut a rug!
Here I am with my sisters-in-law and Mir. We all jumped at the chance to go, even though the rest of the people there were high school kids.. haha
My other sister, Chava is older than me. She has been visiting from San Diego for a while. Her husband, Cheyne was able to come down for the weekend too, so he came and played some fun music!
My sister-in-law Amy looked so awesome! I think she looks like a Vogue model here.

finally.....

Finally....A break.
Chris came home. I had a long day with Saxon that day. He has bad allergies and also gets very bored easily! Chris came home to save the day and play with Saxon for a little while.
He is getting quite good at balancing! Haha Saxon loves it.
As you can tell, I was POOPED.

Finally......a date.

That night we went out. It had actually been quite a while since we've been on a date, just Chris and I, as sad as it sounds. Sometimes it's hard to find a babysitter, and we usually like taking Sax along with us. But it sure was nice to go out together! We decided that we need to do it more often!
We had dinner at Noodles and Co. It was very yummy food!
Then...we were driving by Krispy Kreme and just couldn't help ourselves!
Donut anyone???

After all the yummy food and sugar, Chris took me somewhere, but it was a surprise! He drove us over to Parkway Crossing, the apartment where I used to live when Chris and I met, dated, and fell in love. We played a game where we had to go around and guess what memory was in that particular spot. It was so fun to remember the hilarious, sweet, and crazy moments that we had when we were dating... good job chris :) Man, I love him.

7 Peaks

This summer we have season passes to 7 Peaks. It's been a great time going with Saxon all the time, and it's really a life saver cause he goes crazy inside the house all day! So when he gets fussy, we go over there and splash in the pools! We really have a fun, special time together. Here are some of our friends from the ward whom we go with. The little blonde kid is Jack. He is so cute! They are hardcore and go almost every single day!

Here's our little stud muffin, lookin' so big. He likes to splash and wade in the pool. I started holding his hands so he can walk in the water, and now he's really good at walking outside the water! (with help, of course)
Chris has been able to come a couple of times. When he does, it's extra fun of course. We do a little more than the kiddie pools :)
Not camera shy at all, as you can tell!
Chris' mom babysat one day so Chris, his brother and I could play at Seven Peaks. She sure kept Saxon happy with this gigantic lollipop! He stuck the whole thing in his mouth too, of course... That's what grandmas are for!
Oh, by the way.. Chris is working out again. Which is a great excuse to go to the pool, right! It's not fair, he lifts for just a few weeks and already looks like Hulk. He and his brother Josh have been going to the gym every day. Ooh baba!
