Saxon loves to get into the dirt where our flowers used to be, before they died. Now he just digs in there, and occasionally tries a taste of the brown dirt! Yucky! But, an old man in the post office once told me that boys are just like plants, they need some dirt to grow... guess this works!
Saxon had a really stuffy nose so we broke out the humidifier. It was fun to watch him play with the mist. Having him that close, breathing it in, really helped.

autumn, our favorite time of year.
Oh, how he loves bathtime. In fact, he'll often crawl over to the bathtub and pull up on the edge to look inside. He's getting really good at cruising around on the furniture, his toys, cupboards, beds, or whatever. He's even been taking his first steps, walking between Chris and I.
So exciting!

on cloud nine
I can't believe Saxon is already almost 9 months old. He's growing so fast, but it seems like he's been part of our family forever at the same time. Lately, he has been developing very quickly, which happens at this age I guess. He is now crawling quite well, but mostly just wants to walk around, holding onto my fingers for help.I love this picture. Saxon had just woke up in his stroller from a nap while we were at a wedding, and was being so happy and cute. Chris and I were going nuts about this picture! We are so in love with Sax.
Lately, Sax doesn't like staying put for diaper changes--at all. He loves to roll over and crawl away! Here he's after his binky, which is on the couch. He loves his binky!
He's getting really good at cruising around on the furniture too.
SAILING IN THE MOONLIGHT
Don's got his sailing face on.
Oh yeah, don't mind my super cheesy smile.
