I can't believe Saxon is already almost 9 months old. He's growing so fast, but it seems like he's been part of our family forever at the same time. Lately, he has been developing very quickly, which happens at this age I guess. He is now crawling quite well, but mostly just wants to walk around, holding onto my fingers for help.
I love this picture. Saxon had just woke up in his stroller from a nap while we were at a wedding, and was being so happy and cute. Chris and I were going nuts about this picture! We are so in love with Sax.

Later that night Chris' mom babysat and we went out to dinner at La Vigna in AF. This is us by the fireplace... It is such a great restaurant. If you haven't been there, I highly suggest it. The food and service is amazing! We'll go with you!
It's so funny--as soon as I break out the camera, Saxon is ALL smiles! This day he was in a bad mood, so I took out the camera and...well, you can see how much he loves it.
We got a new hat for Saxon. He wouldn't keep it on for a while... then it was the only thing he would keep on!
Oatmeal time! Yummy.
The other day I let Saxon let out his artistic side in his high chair. I poured ketchup, chocolate sauce, mustard, and a couple kinds of baby food down for him to spread around. To tell you the truth, it smelled pretty funky...but I think he had fun!
Escapee!!Lately, Sax doesn't like staying put for diaper changes--at all. He loves to roll over and crawl away! Here he's after his binky, which is on the couch. He loves his binky!
He's getting really good at cruising around on the furniture too.
SAILING IN THE MOONLIGHT
The other night our friends Don and Crystal Washburn took us sailing.Don's got his sailing face on.
Here we are in the cabin of the boat. Chris' hair is wet because well...he's crazy and jumped in the lake, along with Don.Oh yeah, don't mind my super cheesy smile.
Zach and Izzie are also our really good friends. Saxon usually is a huge mama's boy and doesn't let anyone else hold him, but he was cool with Izzie that night. I really like this picture.

Man, that Saxon is just too cute! I love all the pictures. We've never been to La Vinga but have wanted to go...maybe we'll have to go together!

Okay, I thought he looked like Chris, before, but now that we have been away HE IS CHRIS!!!
