AGFT

OH! I love the AGFT! (Annual Gileadi Fake Thanksgiving). We usually celebrate Thanksgiving early, which is nice if you are married and have to figure out if you're going to go to the in-laws or your own family's holiday gatherings.. Plus you get two Thanksgivings! We had this two weeks early this year cause Chava's family was in town from San Diego.I didn't get any pictures of the food on the table (dang! it was beautiful) but here are some fun pics of everyone hanging out.. As I was taking this picture, I told Yoni to "Mash them potatoes!!" He looks thrilled about that order, doesn't he?Suren, my adorable nephew and soon to be Saxon's cousin! Cute! He loves his blankey.Kale'a is ridiculously cute as well.Miriam brought her boyfriend? over for AGFT! Man, my camera was shooting everyone with scary red eyes that night. Anyway, the kid was pretty cool. I'm sure he was overwhelmed by our large and boisterous family. This is our best attempt at taking a picture ourselves at arm's length while we were chillen on the couch. OH we're such a cute couple :)Suren is feeling Saxon in the belly! I wonder if he understands there's a baby in there, or if he thinks I just got really fat, really fast...Everyone hanging out... That's what we do best--besides play games! Especially Mafia. We played a few games of Mafia before the food was all done and it was hectic, loud, and so much fun! (that's the way I like it). Mafia is our favorite Gileadi game.. It's probably cause Gileadi sounds like an Italian mafia name.Saxon's soon to be daddy! Oh man he's handsome! My brother Sam is so stylish with his hat! Suren loves uncle Sammy.

My brother, Avi and his wife Megan were lovin the bean bag, and Eugene Dawgins (the newest addition to Yoni's family)I can't believe that Daniel (the youngest) has outgrown pretty much all of our brothers!! The only competition left is Avi...watch out Avi.
Oooh! A card game! This is what it's all about.. even though I was feeling too lazy to join in, it looked very fun. This was also a good alternative to the extremely long game of Risk that all the boys were playing.. They play into all into the night!
Here they are getting ready. They take the game of Risk very, very seriously. Every time I would walk into the room to try to get Chris to leave with me, Yoni would look at me with an anxious, obsessed-about-Risk look, to back off ;)The armies are prepared!Kale'a was helping her daddy try to win... to bad it didn't work. Actually, I don't think anyone won because it ended up being 2 a.m. and the game was still going, so they eventually just stopped. Good call boys.

What a fun time! Don't you agree, turkey?
