a day at the zoo

Saxon and I went to the Hogel Zoo with my sister in law, Amy and her boys, and my brother Yoni met us there later. We also took along Scout, the little girl that's looking at the elephant. Amy was babysitting her that day. As you can tell, she was very independent and didn't want to pose for the picture..or stay by us most of the day! She's super cute though.

Saxon slept the entire time we were there! 4 hours actually... I wish he'd sleep like that more at night, hehe. It was nice though.

Ok, so I finally am updating with some very recent pictures! Saxon will be 3 months next week (March 26) and is getting so big! I can't believe it! He's really getting into the smiley stage and it's so fun.
Here are his little feetsies! They are so cute. They are starting to get stinky when he has shoes on for a while, which is also still so cute.

He's thinking, what is she doing to me???Lately he's discovered his hands, and loves to suck on them. He tries to stick his whole fist in his mouth and is actually pretty good at it! And at slobbering! He loves to do that lately, which is nice, so we don't have to keep putting the binkie back in his mouth over and over so much :)

I love his smiles so much! Even on the days when he cries and fusses a lot, he'll smile and it will make it all so worth it.

Saxon is so inquisitive. He loves to look around and study things and faces. He goes nuts if he can't keep looking around at something new, so we often walk him around the house so that he can get his eyeful. We think he'll be a smart kiddo.

Snowboarding and friends fun.

These pictures are from about a month ago, but at least I'm finally posting them! I'm also doing it while continuing to procrastinate more on my homework that I'm already behind on.. But it feels good!

OOOH! My brand new snowboard that I won from Blindside. It's a sweet Burton 154". I finally got it and we went snowboarding at Snowbird while my wonderful sister in law, Amy, babysat.
One day Saxon will come snowboarding with us... but for now, he doesn't enjoy wearing a beanie.

Hot stuff in the "Tunnel of Love". It's actually the tunnel that goes straight through the mountain, and I didn't get any lovin! Cause we had to be single file on the small conveyor belt. It's a way sweet tunnel!

More Saxon baby

Saxon is getting bigger and is changing all the time. I fall deeper in love with him every day, too. It's incredible how much I love him! His little personality is starting to peek through, he's getting stronger, and his poop is getting stinkier! We enjoy every day with this little guy.

Christopher's birthday

On Chris' birthday, we went out in the snow! Saxon and I walked around in the winter wonderland while Chris and Don hiked and snowboarded. Haha, Saxon's Gap snowsuit totally drowned him! Too big!

He's getting so big! It's incredible to watch our little one grow. Tomorrow (Feb 6) he'll be six weeks already!
